Starting a new project I'm calling Muses & Musings. I'm sure it will make no sense but then maybe it shouldn't. It won't be just mine so if you want to add to it, praise it or even trash it, feel free.
I see this as a place to share ideas, to work out the kinks and develop my skills as a photographer. It's where successes can be trumpeted and frustrations can be dispelled. It’s a journey, both creative and constructive.
Taken in Naples, FL at the home of my cousins during a Christmas celebration. I waited until after the sun has set to get this light. Toned in Lightroom and Photoshop. Would not have been possible without a tripod.

Sometimes what you set out to do get's trashed. I started out thinking that this would be a great detail shot from Sail Boston 2009. While I was framing this shot I noticed a mother and her son playing together at the stern of the Bluenose. So I waited to see if they would move into my composition. Good for me that they did!
